CenterScreen

Safety

Effective October 15, 2026.

Never stream or watch video while driving. CenterScreen is for use only when your vehicle is parked.

Only while parked

Start, watch and control videos only when your vehicle is in Park and it is safe and lawful to do so. Do not use CenterScreen, or your phone to control it, while the vehicle is moving or while you are responsible for driving, including in stop-and-go traffic, at traffic lights or while using driver-assistance features.

In a Tesla, open CenterScreen in the car’s browser only while the vehicle is in Park. Your vehicle may also restrict video while driving; never try to work around those restrictions.

Driver-assistance and self-driving features still require your full attention. They do not make watching video while driving safe or legal.

Before you drive

Pause or stop playback and put your phone away before shifting out of Park. If a video is playing when you need to drive, stop it first.

Passengers and others

Do not position a screen showing video where it can distract the driver. Follow local laws, which may restrict video visible to the driver even when someone else is watching.

Your responsibility

CenterScreen does not detect whether your vehicle is moving and does not control your vehicle. You are solely responsible for using CenterScreen safely and lawfully. Serviette, LLC is not liable for any accident, injury, damage, citation or other loss arising from use while driving or in violation of law. See the Terms of Service.
