CenterScreen

Terms of Service

Effective October 16, 2026.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Serviette, LLC (“Serviette,” “we,” “us” or “our”), which operates CenterScreen, including the website at centerscreen.app, the CenterScreen iPhone and Android apps, the Chrome companion and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, signing in, pairing a screen, making a purchase or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Please read Section 15 carefully. It requires most disputes to be resolved by binding individual arbitration instead of in court, waives jury trials and class actions, and explains how to opt out within 30 days.

1. Driving safety

Never use CenterScreen, or a phone to control it, while driving. Use the Service in a vehicle only while it is in Park and only where doing so is safe and lawful. This includes stop-and-go traffic, traffic lights and while driver-assistance or self-driving features are engaged. The Service does not detect whether your vehicle is moving, does not control your vehicle and is not designed for use while driving. Do not attempt to defeat any vehicle, browser or manufacturer restriction on video playback. You are solely responsible for how and where you use the Service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Serviette is not liable for any accident, injury, death, property damage, citation, fine or other loss arising from use of the Service while driving, while a vehicle is in motion or in violation of any law. See Safety.

2. What CenterScreen is

CenterScreen lets you pair a phone with a web browser, such as a parked Tesla’s browser or a computer, and play videos you choose on that screen. The Service is provided by Serviette as an independent product.

3. YouTube and other third-party content

CenterScreen is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by YouTube, Google LLC, Tesla, Inc., Apple Inc. or Stripe, Inc. YouTube and Google are trademarks of Google LLC. Tesla is a trademark of Tesla, Inc. Other names and marks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.

CenterScreen is not an official YouTube app. It retrieves videos and related information from YouTube for you and plays them in CenterScreen’s own player, not YouTube’s player. YouTube has not reviewed or authorized this method. As a result, some YouTube features, including ads, view counts, watch history and creator tools, may be missing or work differently.

When you use CenterScreen to watch or browse YouTube content, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms), and the Google Privacy Policy applies to information Google receives. You are responsible for complying with YouTube’s terms and with applicable law when you use the Service.

Videos, thumbnails, titles, channel names, comments and other content shown through CenterScreen belong to their respective owners. CenterScreen does not host, upload, own, review or control that content and is not responsible for it. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to third-party content. You are responsible for having any permission you need to view the content you request. Purchases of CenterScreen access pay for CenterScreen’s software and service, not for any third-party content.

CenterScreen’s access to YouTube depends on services we do not control. YouTube or Google may change, limit, block or end that access at any time, and features may stop working without notice. We do not promise that YouTube content, or any particular video, channel, quality or feature, will remain available through the Service.

To report content that infringes your copyright on YouTube, use YouTube’s copyright complaint process (https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2807622), because YouTube hosts that content. For concerns about CenterScreen itself, email hello@centerscreen.app with enough detail to identify the material and your claim. We may remove or block access to specific material, and may suspend repeat infringers.

4. Optional YouTube connection

Connecting a YouTube account is optional. If you connect one, you authorize CenterScreen to use the connection to retrieve your YouTube feeds, library and related information on your behalf. CenterScreen never asks you to type your Google password into CenterScreen and is designed only to read from YouTube, not to post, like, subscribe or change your YouTube data. You can disconnect at any time. You understand that YouTube or Google may sign you out, limit features or take action against an account under their own terms, and that you use a connected account at your own risk. Serviette is not responsible for any action YouTube or Google takes regarding your Google or YouTube account.

5. Eligibility and availability

The Service is offered only in the United States, and you may use it only while located in the United States. You must be at least 17 years old and old enough to use YouTube under its terms. If you are under 18, or the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms for you and is responsible for your use and any purchases. You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law.

6. Your account and screens

You sign in with Apple or Google. Keep your devices and sign-in methods secure, and approve only screens you trust. You are responsible for all activity under your account and on screens you pair, including by other people in your vehicle. You can rename or remove paired screens in the CenterScreen app. Signing out of your phone does not unpair your screens; remove a screen to revoke its access. Tell us promptly at hello@centerscreen.app if you believe your account has been misused.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

8. Free allowance, purchases and auto-renewal

We may offer a limited amount of free watch time per account, currently 15 minutes of playback. It does not reset on a new device or screen, and cancellation or a refund does not restore it.

Where purchases are available, paid access is offered as:

Purchases begin in an eligible CenterScreen app and are completed on Stripe Checkout in your external browser. Review the final amount, any applicable taxes and payment terms on Stripe Checkout before paying. Stripe processes payments under its own terms. Sandbox checkouts are test payments and do not collect real money. Pending payments do not grant paid access. A confirmed one-time purchase stops future monthly renewals on the same account. We may change prices or plans for future periods. We will give you notice before a price change affects your monthly renewal, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law. This includes partial periods, unused access and periods in which the Service or YouTube access was unavailable or changed. We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund or credit in a particular case, which does not obligate us to do so again. If a payment is refunded or reversed, including through a dispute or chargeback, we may end the associated paid access. Contact hello@centerscreen.app for billing help.

9. Cancellation, deletion and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account from Account in the CenterScreen app. Deleting your account cancels monthly access immediately, removes your account and paired screens as described in the Privacy Policy, and does not refund past payments. Serviette keeps billing and financial records after deletion.

We may suspend or terminate your access, or any part of the Service, at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, if required by law or a third party such as YouTube, Apple or Google, to protect users or the Service, or if we decide to discontinue the Service or any feature. Except where required by law, termination or discontinuation does not entitle you to a refund. Sections 1, 3, 7, 8 (as to amounts owed and non-refundability), 9, 10 (except the license to use the Service) and 11 through 20 survive termination.

10. Our rights

The Service, including its software, design, text and the CenterScreen name and logo, is owned by Serviette or its licensors. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your own non-commercial use. We reserve all rights not expressly granted. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

11. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party services, including YouTube and Google (video content, sign-in and Google Play distribution), Apple (Sign in with Apple and the App Store), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and storage) and your vehicle or browser maker. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Serviette does not control them and is not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy or practices, or for any change, interruption or loss they cause.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. SERVIETTE DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, QUIET ENJOYMENT AND ACCURACY, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE OR COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR VEHICLE, BROWSER OR DEVICE, THAT ANY CONTENT WILL BE AVAILABLE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. YOU USE THE SERVICE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SERVIETTE AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, LICENSORS AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL OR USE, OR FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE RESULTING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE WHILE DRIVING, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY OR ANY OTHER THEORY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID SERVIETTE FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR $10 USD IF YOU PAID NOTHING. THESE LIMITS ALLOCATE RISK BETWEEN YOU AND SERVIETTE, ARE REFLECTED IN OUR PRICES AND ARE AN ESSENTIAL BASIS OF THE BARGAIN. These limits apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some states do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of them may not apply to you; in that case they apply to the fullest extent permitted.

14. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Serviette and its members, managers, employees, contractors and agents from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to: your use or misuse of the Service; use of the Service while driving or in violation of law; content you request or view; your violation of these Terms or of YouTube’s or any other third party’s terms; or your violation of anyone’s rights. We may assume control of the defense of any such matter, and you will cooperate with us.

15. Dispute resolution and binding arbitration

Informal resolution first. Before starting an arbitration or court case, you and Serviette agree to try to resolve any dispute informally for at least 60 days. Send a written notice describing your claim and the relief you want to hello@centerscreen.app, including your name and account email. We will send any notice to the email address on your account.

Agreement to arbitrate. Except as stated below, any dispute, claim or controversy between you and Serviette arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms, including their formation, scope or enforceability, will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this Section. The arbitrator may award the same individual relief a court could, but only to the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary for that party’s individual claim. The arbitration will take place by video or telephone, or in person in the county where you live, as the arbitrator decides. Fees are allocated under the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules, which limit the fees a consumer pays.

Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies, and either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in court for infringement or misuse of intellectual property.

Class action and jury waiver. YOU AND SERVIETTE AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. YOU AND SERVIETTE WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims. If 25 or more similar arbitration demands are filed against Serviette by or with the assistance of the same counsel or coordinated group, they will be administered under the AAA’s Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules, in batches of no more than 25 demands (one arbitrator per batch), and no later batch will be filed or charged fees until the earlier batch is resolved. Any statute of limitations is tolled for claims waiting in a later batch. A court may enforce this paragraph.

30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this agreement to arbitrate by emailing hello@centerscreen.app within 30 days after you first accept these Terms (or this version of them). Include your name, the email address on your account and a clear statement that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.

Severability. If the class action waiver is found unenforceable as to a claim, that claim will proceed in court and not in arbitration. If any other part of this Section is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Any claim that is not arbitrated will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware, and you and Serviette consent to their personal jurisdiction.

Individual relief only; no public injunctions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither you nor Serviette may seek relief on behalf of anyone else, including as a private attorney general, and any request for public injunctive relief will be stayed until the arbitration of individual claims is complete.

Time limit. To the extent permitted by law, any claim must be brought within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred.

16. Governing law

These Terms and any dispute between you and Serviette are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and by the Federal Arbitration Act for Section 15. This choice does not deprive you of any protection that cannot be waived under the laws of the state where you live.

17. App stores

If you download a CenterScreen app from the Apple App Store, these Terms are between you and Serviette only, not Apple, and Serviette, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content. Your license to the app is limited to use on Apple-branded devices you own or control as permitted by Apple’s Usage Rules. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund the app’s purchase price (if any); to the fullest extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation. Serviette, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims and claims that the app infringes a third party’s intellectual property. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as “terrorist supporting,” and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

If you download a CenterScreen app from Google Play, Google Play’s terms also apply to that download, and Google is not responsible for the app. If these Terms conflict with an app store’s mandatory terms for that app, the app store’s terms control to the extent of the conflict.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms here with a new effective date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice, such as by email or in the app. Changes take effect when posted unless we say otherwise. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept them. Changes to Section 15 will not apply to a dispute already pending or of which we had notice before the change.

19. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any terms shown at purchase, are the entire agreement between you and Serviette about the Service and replace any earlier terms. If any provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, or by operation of law. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. You agree to receive notices and communications from us electronically. California residents may contact the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or (800) 952-5210.
